When you start a game, you’re given the option to select playable skins representing the IP of Cryptofoxes. While these avatars are stored internally for beginners, we also offer the opportunity to upgrade to an Onchain Avatar, allowing full ownership and progression tracking.

Onchain Avatars are NFTs that players fully own and can use as playable avatars. Going beyond traditional in-game skins, these avatars are powered by the ERC6551 standard, which includes a smart wallet that serves as your identification for your Avatar Profile.

Each avatar is unique and personal, evolving through your progression in the game ecosystem, such as earning badges, trophies, or unlocking new customization options. Whether you choose to be a Cryptofox or represent another web3 community, your journey begins with the community you believe in. Players from partnered communities can mint a soulbound, pixelated version of their NFTs, bringing them to life as playable avatars in Runner League. Through ERC6551, these avatars start as soulbound to the original NFT.
